I’ve known Ethan since high school, so when he reached out to ask me about photographing his wedding I was really touched. Ethan and Britani are currently doing the long distance thing while they each finish up school, so coordinating schedules for their engagement session took a little time, but oh was it worth the wait! Britani is simply the sweetest! She has stunningly beautiful eyes and a smile to match. Ethan knows just what to say to make her nose crinkle and her smile beam. Sure it was a little chilly, but it didn’t seem to bother them. They were just happy to be with each other. I also must tell you, that the more details Britani shares about their upcoming summer wedding, the more excited I get! Trust me friends, you won’t want to miss their wedding post! What better way to welcome the return of Autumn than with an incredible couple!?! I personally cannot think of a better way. It’s no secret that this is my favorite time of year. Nothing beats the beautiful golden light, so I knew we had to incorporate that into Katherine & Mike’s engagement pictures! Let me tell you, these two are a great match! And you better believe my heart swelled when Mike made a comment that she wasn’t smiling with her real smile. “With her real smile, she smiles with her eyes.” Sure enough when he coaxed it out of her, she truly shined! There was no need to tell these two to laugh or smile, they simply did so on their own for the entire session. I had such a great time getting to photograph this incredible couple. They are a shining example of a Christian marriage. Saying they are each other's best friend could not be more true. I enjoy talking to them so much that from time to time, I'd have to regain focus and remember that we were there to take pictures and not just to chat. I've known them for several years and always feel incredibly blessed by any time that I get to spend with them.
