Amidst the busyness of the park these two only had eyes for each other. In their own little bubble they danced and spun in the park. Such a sweet pair. She is such a caring individual which will make her an incredible nurse. He has such a tender, nurturing spirit. It was so special to get a glimpse of the way he loves on her. Their wedding is sure to be nothing less than effortlessly beautiful!
What a warm day it was for these two, but their wedding party didn’t let that damper their celebrating. It was such a fun group of people. Katherine & Michael have carefully surrounded themselves with a great support network as they embark on their married life. A network that will continue to encourage them in their faith and their love for one another.
The Boerner Botanical Gardens served as the most beautiful backdrop for their photos. Everywhere I turned another stunning scene, so I had to be a little picky so we were able to get them to their party on time. The soft blue hues and gray suits popped so brilliantly against the greenery of the Gardens.
And I must offer s quick shout out to Jill, who took such incredible care of our bride. She was with her the entire day and really made sure things flowed smoothly from start to finish.

What better way to welcome the return of Autumn than with an incredible couple!?! I personally cannot think of a better way. It’s no secret that this is my favorite time of year. Nothing beats the beautiful golden light, so I knew we had to incorporate that into Katherine & Mike’s engagement pictures! Let me tell you, these two are a great match! And you better believe my heart swelled when Mike made a comment that she wasn’t smiling with her real smile. “With her real smile, she smiles with her eyes.” Sure enough when he coaxed it out of her, she truly shined! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next summer! In the meantime, please enjoy their engagement session preview!
