Wedding

Wedding Photography | Mr. + Mrs. M | Grace Lutheran Church | 1451 Renaissance Place | Milwaukee, WI by Emily Hilleshiem

Garett was most nervous about the ceremony, after which she proudly announced, “I didn’t pass out!” Rain could or could not have made an appearance on her wedding day, but she didn’t mind. Seth was the same way. Positive about everything that happened, even if it didn’t seem like a good thing. “[Rain] made our pictures different from everyone else’s and was a unique experience to out day.” At the end of the day they were married, a fact everyone was excited about.

It did rain and was fairly chilly, but Seth, Garret and their wedding party were determined to have a good time and were such a breeze to work with. I can’t recall a single moment that I didn’t have a big goofy grin on my face.

There’s no question why so many of their loved ones traveled to be with them on their day. They embrace you fully. They are a special couple, there’s no doubt about that. And they will continue to love, serve and support those around them. It’s just that now they get to do so as husband and wife!

Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. M it was truly an honor to capture your day and witness your union!

Wedding Photography | Mr. + Mrs. B | St. John's Lutheran - Newburg, WI | Folk Song Farm - Richfield, WI by Emily Hilleshiem

If there was only one thing to say about Britani + Ethan’s big day, it’s this: make time for dusk photos! So yes, you will need to scroll through all the beauty of their day to see why I say this. But trust me, you will not regret it!

However since this is my blog, I don’t have to cap it to just one thing. Which is great, because there were so many lovely moments from their wedding. Britani had told me at our initial meeting that she would have a cathedral length veil and I did see a cell phone snap of her wedding dress, but neither piece of information could prepare me for the vision. She was a truly stunning bride inside and out. And the smiles from Ethan proved he knew the same.

They had their reception at Folk Song Farm in Richfield. There is no such thing as too soon to get back there for another wedding. So let me know if you’re planning one! The barn beautifully restored to also maintain the historic relevance. The owners and staff made the entire reception flow so nicely that a great time was had by all. There was no shortage of photo locations, so it’s probably a good thing that we stuck to our timeline, so that I didn’t monopolize their evening with pictures.

Without further ado, please enjoy the following collection from Britani + Ethan’s wedding day!

Wedding Photography | Mr. + Mrs. H | St. Bernard Parish - Wauwatosa, WI | Boerner Botanical Gardens - Hales Corners, WI by Emily Hilleshiem

What a warm day it was for these two, but their wedding party didn’t let that damper their celebrating. It was such a fun group of people. Katherine & Michael have carefully surrounded themselves with a great support network as they embark on their married life. A network that will continue to encourage them in their faith and their love for one another.

The Boerner Botanical Gardens served as the most beautiful backdrop for their photos. Everywhere I turned another stunning scene, so I had to be a little picky so we were able to get them to their party on time. The soft blue hues and gray suits popped so brilliantly against the greenery of the Gardens.

And I must offer s quick shout out to Jill, who took such incredible care of our bride. She was with her the entire day and really made sure things flowed smoothly from start to finish.

God’s richest blessings to the newlyweds!
