Wedding Photography | Mr. + Mrs. M | Grace Lutheran Church | 1451 Renaissance Place | Milwaukee, WI by Emily Hilleshiem

Garett was most nervous about the ceremony, after which she proudly announced, “I didn’t pass out!” Rain could or could not have made an appearance on her wedding day, but she didn’t mind. Seth was the same way. Positive about everything that happened, even if it didn’t seem like a good thing. “[Rain] made our pictures different from everyone else’s and was a unique experience to out day.” At the end of the day they were married, a fact everyone was excited about.

It did rain and was fairly chilly, but Seth, Garret and their wedding party were determined to have a good time and were such a breeze to work with. I can’t recall a single moment that I didn’t have a big goofy grin on my face.

There’s no question why so many of their loved ones traveled to be with them on their day. They embrace you fully. They are a special couple, there’s no doubt about that. And they will continue to love, serve and support those around them. It’s just that now they get to do so as husband and wife!

Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. M it was truly an honor to capture your day and witness your union!

Wedding Photography | Brian + Rachel | Grace Downtown + Grace Center | Downtown Milwaukee by Emily Hilleshiem

It was a beautiful day in October. A tad on the cool side and a few raindrops here and there, but that did nothing to dampen this pair's excitement of getting married. Not to mention, the slightly overcast skies acted as the most perfect light source for this photographer! Despite being in downtown Milwaukee, we managed to find some beautiful fall color for Rachel and Brian, who opted for a first look. The smile behind my camera was almost as big as Brian's when he first laid eyes on his bride. These two were ready to get married. The subtle adoring gazes they exchanged and the kind words shared by their family and friends confirmed this. The themes of "in God's time" and a "cord of three strands" will serve as wonderful reminders to the couple of what their commitments mean beyond their wedding day.
