Fall

Wedding Photography | Mr. + Mrs. M | Grace Lutheran Church | 1451 Renaissance Place | Milwaukee, WI by Emily Hilleshiem

Garett was most nervous about the ceremony, after which she proudly announced, “I didn’t pass out!” Rain could or could not have made an appearance on her wedding day, but she didn’t mind. Seth was the same way. Positive about everything that happened, even if it didn’t seem like a good thing. “[Rain] made our pictures different from everyone else’s and was a unique experience to out day.” At the end of the day they were married, a fact everyone was excited about.

It did rain and was fairly chilly, but Seth, Garret and their wedding party were determined to have a good time and were such a breeze to work with. I can’t recall a single moment that I didn’t have a big goofy grin on my face.

There’s no question why so many of their loved ones traveled to be with them on their day. They embrace you fully. They are a special couple, there’s no doubt about that. And they will continue to love, serve and support those around them. It’s just that now they get to do so as husband and wife!

Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. M it was truly an honor to capture your day and witness your union!

Nature Photography | Anniversary Trip | Northern Wisconsin by Emily Hilleshiem

This past weekend marked two years of marriage with my best friend. We enjoyed the beautiful, fall colors while staying at a cabin in Northern Wisconsin. We got to enjoy the colors even more from the best view: on the lake. It was a very relaxing trip with bald eagle sightings, nighttime campfires, tasty s'mores, local bakeries, pumpkin picking and antique store browsing. The weather could not have been more gorgeous! The clear blue skies allowed the warm sunshine to display how vibrant the leaves were. This truly is my absolute favorite time of year!

Anniversaries are such special celebrations. Time to reflect on time past and eagerly look ahead at what is yet to come. Our extended weekend gave me plenty of time to feel especially blessed for the experiences that we have had so far as husband and wife. This past year has brought job changes, a new place to call home and an additional furry family member to name a few. There is absolutely no one else that I would rather have by my side than my dear hubby!

It also made me thankful for the role that I get to play in helping to preserve memories for others who are celebrating any of the milestones that life brings. I truly have an incredible job when I can be a part of such moments!

Now, prepare yourselves for some stunning rusty orange, red and yellow colors!
