Wedding Photography | Anthony + Bailey | Wautoma, WI by Emily Hilleshiem

As Bailey and I chatted about her wedding day vision, she mentioned that she had been creating a Pinterest board. I could not help but gawk at it! It was super pretty! I felt there was a strong emphasis on nature and natural beauty with a little hint of glamour. There was no doubt in my mind that I definitely wanted to be a part of their day. Fast forward to their wedding day and it was far more beautiful than I imagined it would be!

So very many things made Bailey + Anthony's day incredible.

The lake served as the perfect backdrop for their outdoor celebration. All of the florals were simplistic, but very effective additions to the natural beauty that was already there. The view from the ceremony space was breathtaking, and the little bit of mist that was present during their ceremony, made it feel even more magical.

But let's move on to the heart and soul of their day. Two words: family affair. Every last thing was done by loved ones. And I mean everything! The food. The cake. The decor. All of it. Simply because Bailey + Anthony are well loved. The care, attention and hard work that their loved ones put into their day not only serves as a beautiful testimony to the couple that Bailey + Anthony are, but also speaks volumes of the generous hearts of those that they have surrounded themselves with.

My favorite part of the entire gorgeous day, was when everyone sat down at the incredible table with a stunning table scape. The site was surreal. I cannot think of a better way to soak in all the love for a newly formed family than by having a family style dinner at such a grand table. Not to mention the food was phenomenal!!! ( I sure do love me some tacos!)

I could go on and on about other parts that I loved, because so many things are still fresh in my mind, but I think what I've mentioned already has you more than ready to view some images!

Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. P!

Family Photography | The M Family | Milwaukee, WI by Emily Hilleshiem

Ah, family photos. It seems that they're easier to make time for when you're capturing the growth of your little ones in the early years, However once kids have grown up, it's easy for them to become an oversight. I find this to be an unfortunate circumstance because there is so much beauty in the adult phase of children's lives.

That is simply one of the many reasons that I was so happy that the M family contacted me for some updated photos. As adorable as the girls were in their family photos from awhile back, I hope that they (and mom + dad too!) will appreciate and treasure this set as well!

Meet the M Family!

Newborn Photography | Peter Michael | Milwaukee, WI by Emily Hilleshiem

This little fella is near and dear to my heart. His mama happens to be one of my dearest friends. And I may be biased in saying so, but he's one of the cutest newborns I've had the pleasure of meeting! At only a week old, it was a joy to already see so much of his personality. He slept for a few minutes, before his curious nature took over and he needed to figure out what was happening. His curious faces were simply irresistible! (You'll know what I'm talking about when you see them. hehe) I thoroughly enjoyed spending some one on one time with little Peter. Baby snuggles are seriously the best!

Welcome to the world, Peter!
