Family

Love Letters | Family Photography | The G Family | Elm Grove, WI by Emily Hilleshiem

"With two brothers serving the country in the Navy, getting photographs done of the whole family was so special. Even though the family is spread around the country, we can cherish the moments we spent together at Christmas."

I'm so glad that we managed to squeeze these images in just before that major snowstorm after Christmas. Not only because family and the holidays go hand in hand, but because these images mean so much more. Kimmi contacted me asking if I'd be available to photograph family pictures. There was a bit of added urgency since only a little bit later one of the brothers would be moving to Hawaii with his family. I can definitely relate to the desire to have family photos during those special times when you are all able to be together. It's easy to get spread out and yearn for those opportunities when they aren't there. Thank you G family for recognizing the importance of that family connection. It was a pleasure to meet you all and photograph your family!

Prepare yourself for this incredibly cute pair of brothers! Henry recently turned one; so, it was a great time to have some new photos taken! These two fellas are not only brothers, but the best of friends! Evan is protective and oh so caring of his little brother. He was also great at coaxing smiles out of Henry. I had such a great time walking around Grant Park with these guys and their awesome parents. There's a whole lotta love in this family! Enjoy!

Meet the S family!

I was ecstatic when Tanya contacted me to capture photos of her family. She seized the opportunity that her family was in town for a wedding (and all fancied up!) and decided to gift some family photos to her dad as a belated Father's Day present. I absolutely loved this sentiment! So we planned to meet up for a brief session at the lakefront before they headed off to enjoy some great food and dance the night away!

This fine looking group of people have extremely kind hearts! I wish we had more time because I could have photographed them for so much longer!
