Hello and welcome!
When I first started photographing weddings, it was as a second shooter. That background definitely influenced my style. If I'm being honest, the very first wedding I ever shot on my own had minimal photos of the bride and groom looking at the camera. The reason? I was not accustomed to having the couple look my way because they were always looking at the lead photographer's camera! Since then, I've certainly grown to incorporate more portraits of the couple smiling at the camera; however, I will always prefer to be a fly on the wall. I want to be the "mostly" silent observer to your love story and capture your relationship in all its beauty. I say "mostly" because if I see something that I think will make the photo even better, you better believe I'll let you know because I want you to truly love your photos! And not only love them because they're pretty, but love them because you remember how you felt when they were captured.
I love natural light. I am most comfortable using available light as it allows me to freely move around a scene and capture everything, without having to worry about constantly repositioning equipment. (With that being said, I do have lighting equipment because you're bound to need it at some point during a wedding day!)
I hope that when people view my wedding photos, that the words "classic," "romantic" and “elegant” come to mind.
I'm so glad that you're here! Make yourself at home and have a look around. If you love what you see, I cannot wait to hear from you!
